Duncan’s ‘Drivel’ ?
What’s that? – you ask.
‘Drivel’ is a fine word used a lot in Scotland when I was a lad to denote that – in the listener’s opinion – a speaker was talking nonsense.
It was a word frequently used by family and teachers to describe my own utterances.
These few stories presented here might justifiably be described as ‘drivel’
They are not great literature – just bits of stories I wrote for amusement.
